Accessibility Statement

Effective August 25, 2026

What we are aiming for, what is already true, and — honestly — what is not yet. If the site is getting in your way, the last section is the one that matters: tell us and we will sell you the ticket ourselves.

Vadelis Labs Inc. is committed to making TicketsByFomo usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, magnification, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or switch devices.

If anything here stops you buying a ticket, email [support@fomotickets.com](mailto:support@fomotickets.com) with the event name and how many tickets you want. We will complete the purchase with you and send your tickets. You will never pay more for buying that way.

1.The standard we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the W3C. We also work toward the expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

We describe our status as partially conformant: most of the Service meets Level AA, and the exceptions we know about are listed below. We do not claim full conformance, because we have not completed an independent audit of every page.

2.What we have built

Structure and navigation

  • Pages use semantic HTML — real headings in order, real lists, real buttons and links — so assistive technology can navigate them.
  • Every interactive control is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a clearly visible focus indicator that meets the Level AA contrast and size requirements.
  • Decorative graphics, including our logo mark and generated event artwork, are hidden from assistive technology rather than announced as meaningless images.

Forms and checkout

  • Every field has a permanently visible label — never a placeholder standing in for one — and fields carry the correct autocomplete attributes so browsers and password managers can fill them.
  • Validation errors are shown in text next to the field they belong to, describe what to do rather than only what is wrong, and are announced to screen readers rather than appearing silently.
  • The checkout hold countdown is announced as a status update, not only as a moving number, and the expiry message explains what happened and that nothing was charged.

Colour and motion

  • The interface is built on a neutral palette with text contrast at or above the Level AA thresholds, in both light and dark presentation.
  • Colour is never the only way information is conveyed: sold-out and low-stock states, order statuses, and scan results all carry text as well as colour, and the colour choices are checked against common forms of colour vision deficiency.
  • Content does not flash, and the interface respects your operating system’s reduced-motion setting.

Content

  • Ticket confirmations are sent as email that reads correctly as plain text, so you do not need to render an image to find your ticket.
  • Event dates and times are written out in full rather than relying on visual layout to be understood.
  • This legal collection is built for reading: a single column of text, a table of contents on every document, stable anchors for every section, and a print stylesheet that produces a clean document.

3.Known limitations

We would rather tell you where we fall short than let you discover it at checkout:

  • Event artwork and descriptions are supplied by event organizers. We cannot guarantee that an organizer has written meaningful alternative text for an image, or has structured a description well. We prompt organizers to do so and we require it under the Organizer Agreement, but we do not review every listing.
  • Ticket QR codes are inherently visual. Every ticket also carries a text code, and door staff can look an attendee up by name — so a ticket can always be redeemed without scanning a screen.
  • Ticket scanning requires a camera. The check-in application used by event staff needs a working camera and adequate light. Staff can enter a ticket code by hand instead.
  • Data tables in the organizer reporting area — sales by day, attendee rosters — are dense, and while they are navigable, they are harder work with a screen reader than the rest of the Service. The same data is available as a CSV export.
  • We have not completed an independent third-party audit. Our assessment is based on internal review and testing.

4.Accessibility at the event itself

We sell tickets; we do not run venues. Accessible seating, companion tickets, step-free access, assistance animals, audio description, captioning, and quiet spaces are all decided and provided by the Event Organizer and the venue.

  • Where an Event Organizer offers accessible tickets or asks about access requirements at checkout, those questions appear during purchase and the answers go to that organizer.
  • Where they do not, contact the Event Organizer or venue directly before buying — we can put you in touch.
  • If you are not sure who to ask, email support@fomotickets.com and we will find out for you.

Please do not buy accessible seating unless you or someone in your party needs it. Doing so takes a place from someone who does, and tickets may be cancelled where the policy is abused.

5.Tell us about a problem

Email support@fomotickets.com. It helps enormously if you can include:

  • the page you were on, and what you were trying to do;
  • the assistive technology, browser, and device you were using; and
  • what happened instead.

We respond within 5 business days. For anything blocking a purchase, we will complete that purchase for you while we fix the underlying problem. We treat accessibility defects as functional defects, not as feature requests.

This statement is reviewed whenever we make a significant change to the Service, and at least annually.

This document is part of the TicketsByFomo legal collection. Each document links to the others where they overlap.
