Your Privacy Choices

Effective August 25, 2026

One page for acting on your information rather than reading about them. What we do not do, what you can ask for, exactly what to send, and how long we take.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no opt-out to submit, because there is nothing being sold or shared. This page is here so you can act on every other right you have.

For the full picture of what we collect and why, read the Privacy Policy.

1.What you can ask us to do

Tell me what you have
We send you the categories and the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, where we got them, why we have them, and who we have disclosed them to.
Give me a copy
We export the information you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format.
Fix something
We correct information that is wrong or out of date. You can already change your name, email address, and phone number yourself in your account.
Delete my information
We delete what we hold about you, other than records we are legally required to keep — see what we cannot delete.
Stop emailing me
We remove you from marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message for the fastest result, or ask us. Order confirmations and tickets are not marketing and keep coming while you hold an active order.
Turn off analytics
Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser and we switch off analytics and session replay for that browser automatically. See the Cookie Policy.
Take me off a waitlist
We remove your waitlist entry for an event.
Appeal a decision
If we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider. See Appeals.

2.How to submit a request

Email support@fomotickets.com from the address on your account. Because we operate exclusively online, email is our designated method for privacy requests.

Include:

  1. What you want — access, a copy, correction, deletion, or something else from the list above.
  2. The email address on your account or order. This is how we find your records.
  3. An order number, if your request is about a specific purchase.
  4. The state or country you live in, so we apply the right law.

You may also write to us by post at the address below, but email is faster and email is what we use to reply.

3.How we verify you

We have to be sure a request comes from the person it concerns — otherwise the right to access your information would become a way for someone else to obtain it.

  • For most requests, replying from the email address on the account is enough, and we confirm by sending a link to that address.
  • For a deletion request, or where the information is sensitive, we may ask you to confirm details only the account holder would know — for example the date and amount of a recent order.
  • We will never ask you for your password, your full card number, or a government identification document.
  • If we cannot verify you, we will tell you why and what would help. An unverified request is declined rather than fulfilled.

4.How long we take

  • We acknowledge your request within 10 business days.
  • We complete it within 45 calendar days. Where a request is complex we may take up to a further 45 days, and we will tell you before the first period runs out and explain why.
  • There is no charge. If a request is manifestly unfounded or repetitive we may charge a reasonable fee or decline it, and we will explain our reasoning if that ever happens.

5.What we cannot delete

Some records have to stay, and a deletion request cannot remove them until the obligation ends:

  • Order, payment, and refund records, which we keep for at least 7 years for tax, accounting, and audit purposes.
  • Signed waivers, which we keep while a claim relating to the event could still be brought.
  • Email suppression records — the list of addresses that rejected our mail. Deleting one would make us start mailing an address that bounces.
  • Security and fraud records, where keeping them is necessary to protect the Service or another person.
  • Tickets for an event that has not yet happened. Deleting your account would leave you unable to attend. We will delete after the event instead, and we will tell you that is what we are doing.

Where we cannot delete something, we isolate it from further use and delete it as soon as the obligation ends.

6.Information held for an event organizer

For information collected specifically for an event — your answers to that organizer’s questions, a waiver you signed, your place on their attendee list — we act as a service provider on the Event Organizer’s instructions, and the Event Organizer decides what happens to it. See Our role.

Send your request to us anyway. We will act on the part we can act on, pass the rest to the Event Organizer, and tell you which is which and who to follow up with. We require every Event Organizer to honour privacy requests under the Organizer Agreement.

7.Authorized agents

You can have someone submit a request on your behalf. We need:

  • written permission from you naming the agent, signed and dated, or a power of attorney; and
  • enough information to verify you — not just the agent — using the process above.

We may contact you directly to confirm that you authorized the request before we act on it.

8.Appeals and complaints

Appeal to us

If we decline your request, reply to our decision and say why you disagree. A different person reviews the appeal, and we respond in writing within 45 days explaining the outcome and our reasoning.

Complain to a regulator

You can complain to your state Attorney General at any time — you do not have to appeal to us first. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.

9.We will not treat you differently

Exercising a privacy right will never cost you anything, will not change the price you pay, and will not affect the service you get. We do not offer or operate any financial incentive in exchange for personal information.
